DISCLAIMER : all critics and comments are from my own lived experience and have no link to any advertising or paid comment. Perfect gastronomic experience in the Dome fish restaurant in Riga. It has also the rare chance to be opened on Christmas eve. The service and advices were simply perfect , the food was outstanding : not the slightest thing to reproach or criticize ; cooking was perfect, tastes were there and long lasting , quantities were just what you can expect wether you are light or big eater. Freshness of the products was there too and the inventiveness of the plates was a total pleasure A great thank you to the restaurant team, if all restaurant meals were like that, it would be such a pleasure. And especially at such reasonable prices ! It deserves clearly Michelin stars

Stellar food, service, setting, price, everything! This place is perfection. I had a lobster salad for starter and mushroom tagliatelle for main - only 10 EUR! Super professional staff. Great for business lunch during weekdays! Would come back any day for sure.
Had a 4-course meal with wine pairing. Wine is an important part of meal for me so believe me when I saw the food and wine went well together... highly recommended for 70. Live music. Food was pretty above average I would say. Colours and food presentation were there. Fish dishes were cooked between raw and cooked which I liked because it kept some of the fish softness and fats. But overall the place and experience didn’t entirely blew my mind. Partly when I walked it I felt an unwelcoming tone from the restaurant staff and guests. Our waitress do warm up a little thereafter, not sure if it’s due to language differences at the start (we speak perfect English though). However, another waitress seems to be more well versed with English spoke at length to another table of 3 guys. We still tipped 10% of our total bill anyway. Anyhow, it was still nice to be seated in a nice fancy high class restaurant. I recommend more service training for the waitress in terms of presenting and explaining the dishes and wine to enhance guests experiences in the future.
A recommendation by the manager at Lumberjack Barbers. This restaurant is part of the hotel complex. It’s dark interior has an array of blown up photographs of local fisherman, adding to that connection with the sea. Service and food was excellent. The chef at Le Dome clearly loves the use of wasabi in his dishes, which is an excellent signature. Le Dome is a fine dining restaurant, with a twist of lemon, to complement it’s excellent of array of fish dishes.
Delicious food and lovely staff, can’t wait to come back. All fish (while served in small portions) is cooked to perfection . 10/10
DOME is located in very heart of old town. Nice atmosphere, tasty food, fast service, if you like seafood can't go wrong with DOME. Perfect place for small events, business meetings, having a date or just treating yourself with some good food.
One of my favorites in Old Town. Perfect for a quiet and romantic dinner. Food is always great.
