First time visit, taking advantage of an empty table outside on one of Glasgow's occasional sunny days. Staff were friendly and well-presented; the bar area modest-sized and clean. Liked it well enough to stay for a few rounds. A wee bit disappointed that they don't sell full-size bottles of wine, so I drowned my sorrows on one of their rather nice Island gins.
One of the oldest pubs in Partick, Glasgow (the \West End\), this is a great place to watch sports, have a drink with good company and great service. It is a very clean and well kept place and has plenty of comfortable seating. Prices are very reasonable. It's a Celtic FC pub and so you would definitely feel uncomfortable if you arrive in a Rangers shirt!
I was here recently during the day (work related), luckily I was in and away in 5 minutes. I found the staff to be flippant and ill mannered. Might be a good place according to reviews, but staff etiquette leaves a lot to be desired. Poor.
Tuesday night was very pleasant..2 football screens showing 2 European games..Very relaxed..we enjoyed our stay.
