We stayed for 11 nights with children 6 and 4 years old with a rented car. Srinith is a very hospitable host - on his tuk-tuk he gave us a short tour of the surroundings where he showed shops, markets, restaurants, a beach, a beach with turtles, an ATM. During our stop, he always helped to resolve issues - he arranged a rental of a jeep in Yala and a boat trip along the Dodandowa lagoon, helped to solve other issues.
The villa is comfortable, consists of three bedrooms, a good equipped kitchen, a living room, one toilet, a dining room and a laundry room. There is a semi-automatic washing machine.
Very nice pool, which is rare enough for this area.
There is a parking place.
Nearby is a kindergarten, where children can go - there is a playground with slides and swings. The presence of a kindergarten for us is more plus then minus. Firstly, he didn’t work from December 28 to 7.01, and our children could walk to play on the playground, and secondly, even when he was working, the children's noise didn’t disturb us much, and at about 13:00 all the children went home.
Animals came into the yard - we saw a monitor lizard and a couple of mongooses.
The location is good enough - across the road is a good beach with small waves, the children liked it. On the beach you can rent a SUP. Nearby (5 minutes walk) a fruit market with good prices and it is lower than in Hikkaduwa. There is a fish market - if someone likes to cook. Also, a train stop is a 5-minute walk, trips on train were very interesting for children and cheap for parents. You can get to Hikkaduwa by tuk-tuk for 10 minutes and about 300 rupees ( 1.5). Nearby (right behind the fence of the villa) there is a railway on which trains ride, but you quickly get used to it. On the other hand, the railway runs along the entire coast, so there is no escape from it. Children on the contrary liked it - our son, hearing a beep from afar, got up on a chair to see how the train was passing.
