I was here on Thursday 24 September at about 5 p.m. There were lots of friendly regulars in who were chatty and nice to spend time with. They loved meeting Jack Russell, Millie! Sarah on the bar was very welcoming and nice to chat to.

Really friendly locals!! The bar prices are a little high at 4.70 for a pint of Guinness but the place is clean with a reasonable amount of very comfortable seating. The bar has its patrons who will happily share a tale or two with you making for a pleasant environment. Staff are friendly and do their best to get to you quickly. I didnt see any bar games going on and there was no pool table, however lots of people chatting makes for a nice environment too.

A great pub with good sized portions of food that don't make you feel sick because they're too big and the drink selection is really good. The staff were nice and there was a nice atmosphere, even earlier on when the weren't many people there. There is a park across the road which you can sit at, and it also has some typical children's park activities like swings and monkey bars. I would highly recommend.
Lovely staff. Super food, not expensive and carefully crafted. update 19.02.2020 Wow this pub is such a surprise. Diss is not enriched with the best pubs, but this is one I visit regularly and introduce to others as often as I can. It has proper keg beer, super staff, lovely open fire in the winter, great feel of a real country Norfolk pub. But the food is why I keep going back. It is inventive, tasty and great value. Truly don't hesitate to try it, you will be hooked!
