A beautiful nature reserve with a variety of habitats. Very tranquil. Well marked trails but not too big to get lost if you want to do your own route. An accessible toilet (not dependent on the visitor centre being open) is a useful bonus, plus picnic tables with a view of the reserve.

Bursting with wild life. An SSI with many rare animals including warblers that migrate from Africa as well as the rare Raft Spider and many dragon flies. in winter it is haven for wild ducks, snipe and woodcock. A number of diverse and interesting walks. A must for anyone that loves nature.

I love it it's a great place for dog walkers, 3 separate paths , very interestive history that can still be read at the beginning even if the center is not opened. A rare fen raft spider can be. seen here if you have the patience and good vision :D. And bonus! The best coffee on Sunday, there is a dude there: Best Batista coffee piccolo, best coffee I had in years.

Lovely on a sunny Sunday. Very well used, the car park was quite full. The coffee guy was there dron 10 until 3 - very good coffee and a nice, friendly chap too. The fen, as usual, changes beautifully with the seasons.
