Friends gathering Dinner at Murasaki on Friday night. We choose omakase for around 1100/person (discounted). The environment and service are good, all plated are beautifully, a brief introduction will be made when serving. Omakade set including: appetizers, steamed egg custard, 7 type of sahimi, 7 types of sushi already-cured and marinated salmon roe with urchin on rice on side, fatty Toro with red onion tempura hand roll was so good with nice crush( forgot to take a pic). The dessert lime sorbet was my favorite.

Having my birthday dinner here! I was expecting just very fine and authentic Japanese meal but omg it's really surprised me! They fusion other cusines into Japanese food and made them fun and tasty! Highly recommend!!!

This is the best teppanyaki in Hong Kong. I've been to a good handful. This is amazing. From crayfish, through foie gras to wagyu beef. Still dreaming

Aug 2017: went there for lunch for the first time. The place is much bigger than anticipated, frankly speaking the first impression was a bit off putting given its sheer size and generic "purple" decor, and typical HK "Japanese" restaurant with everything conceivable including fake sushi counters and teppanyaki space. Luckily we moved from the inner space to the teppanyaki table which is facing large windows into the harbor, bright and very well lit. The most surprising part was how delicate and well made the sushi set lunch was made, well above HK average, just below 600 not cheap for lunch but well worth it (compared to say Tsubomi...)
