The new go-to Indo-Pakistani restaurant in Whitechapel. Have had several takeaways and hosted a work colleague dinner at Dilpasand. Glad to say that everyone was delight with the food and we have always been well taken care of. Front of house Usman is always charming, welcoming and keen to ensure that we are well looked after and leave happy. Service is attentive and polite and although they can get a bit busy and disorganised, waiters do their best to help and I am sure this will improve with time. Ambience is light and airy and the restaurant is tastefully decorated - far nicer surroundings and decor than the rather sterile canteen set-up at Lahore across the road. Food is simply par excellence. Traditional home-style cuisine cooked to perfection. Karahi lamb is rich with incredible flavour and spicing - much tastier than the watered down offerings at some of its neighbours. Full credit to chef Akram and Azaz for exemplary tasty authentic curries that would grace any fine dining establishment in Karachi/Delhi. Chef Guffran mans the grill and the kebabs are out of this world - yet another stand out dish is the gola kebab with paratha - succulent minced lamb that true to its description on the menu does melt your mouth. Finally the freshly made tandoori and romali rotes are made to perfection by Chef Jamal - the romali roti in particular is hard to come by in London but is the perfect accompaniment for mopping up the curries and appreciating their flavour without making you excessively full. Having been a previous regular at Needos and Lahore (gave up on Tayyabs a long time ago after they lost their way and ethos), I anticipate that I will be a regular at Dilpasand for a long time to come.

This place is a Gem in London. Best place for authentic Karachi style food just as you would get in any decent restaurant in Karachi. Kudos to the chef. This place was on par with any food place in Bradford also. Service was excellent also. We were a group of over 20 people and all courses came out at the same time with food hot. I'll be definitely coming back and also bringing my friends, family and work colleagues to come and enjoy the food here. Take a look at the pics. Highly recommended for those who love Pakistani style curry.

I had an emergency family function today, I called up Dilpasand and asked if they could accommodate my family of 22, the gentleman kindly booked me in. When I arrived they made a nice dining area especially for my family so we can celebrate special occasion. The staff there especially Usman and Amit looked after us so well, they bought the food out smoothly and made sure that we was well looked after. These guys were fantastic!! The food I’m not going to speak about, it’s my fifth visit in last 4 weeks. Best tasting dishes, flavourful, you just can’t go wrong. When you are there try the Mixed Grill, GOALA Kebab and Kheer, My favourites. Once again thanks guys at Dilpasand for taking care of us and hosting a amazing evening with delicious food
