Quick delivery, still warm, not over-priced but especially delicious! I experienced that roti & surinameese food in general can be overly packed with fat and taste more like it was made by a fast-food chain, but this was way more 'balanced' / homemade food like. We loved it!!!

The food is crazy good!!! I ordered the vegetarian roti and the commewijne table, would recommend all of it. Also, the satay sauce changed my life! This sounds exaggerated but I hadn't had authentic surinamese food before and I'm still very excited about how much I loved it.
My favorite local surinamese place to get food! They have a nice vegetarian selection and I love their ginger beer. Sometimes they're a bit slow but they do let you know if that's the case.
After ordering online thru Thuisbezorgd app I was shown a delivery time of 78 minutes, the delivery time shown on the store front was 35 minutes. After calling the shop I was told its busy so to be sure they set a longer delivery time. So in anticipation of my 4,5 star meal I patiently waited to be positively surprised. Unfortunately Im disappointed to put it mildly. Ive ordered a saoto soup bami sate and roti with a ginger root drink. As I have relatives from Surinam, and have eaten at many different Surinam cafes, I can tell you that this is was mediocre tasting meal unfortunately. The soup is very watery and was missing rice and spices that go along, the chicken meat is not made on purpose for the soup you can tell by the taste its a bit stale, a good version would have pulled chicken. The egg has been in the broth for a while as it was stained all-ready. A fresh version has a white egg. The bami let me be brief, this is not bami this is spaghetti with some souce to make if look like bami, bami has way more spices. The green beans were not really tasty to put it mild no sauce no spices. The sate has also seen its best time all-ready it was a bit tough but had some taste to it. The Roti is actually the only good meal from this batch. I would package the pancake in aluminum foil instead of plastic bag to prevent it from sticking together. The ginger root drink is also excellent, good job. I hope this is of assistance when choosing your meal. I hope the owner does something with the feedback. Ive read many similar reactions.
