Our new not so local local... Great staff, some of the best Calamari I've tasted and a complete selection of wines, beers and now cocktails!

Enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Dickin Arms. Efficient and friendly service, warm and beautiful surroundings and delicious meal. Can't fault anything, we will definitely be going again soon. So delighted to have such a great pub on our doorstep!

Had fish and chips tonight after hearing good reviews, but sadly we had frozen chips! For the price we paid which was 13.50 would of expected home made chips! A joke really, I had the cod loin at 17.00 nothing special, felt ripped off , all we got from the staff was ' oh sorry about that ' would of been nice if they said would you like a complimentary drink or dessert maybe! Wouldn't go back

Visited The Dickin Arms on Sunday 31 March 2019 late afternoon for a drink with our son on Mother's Day. The Dickin Arms has about 20 spaces in its car park to the rear and left hand side of the building. There is further parking on the road nearby. On entering the place we found the Dickin Arms to warm and comfortable. A bar with three real ales is on the left hand side of the room with a restaurant area further on to the left. The main bar area had several large tables to the right with two comfortable seating areas with soft sofas and lower tables facing each other. These are alongside a modern brick open fire place setting containing a metal wood burning stove. It looks like this can be lit but the radiators were nice and warm so it had been left unlit. The beers were ok although I felt the Shropshire Gold was a little past its best. It was sold at a good price of 3.00 a pint. We felt welcome and we would certainly risk having a meal here in the future
