I have been on a Nepalese trek of aldershot and I have to say from the outside its old, dated and a little cheap looking. Don't be dare put off by any of that....... I have to say by far this place is an amazing, quaint family run business. From the minute you walk in the staff are so friendly and welcoming. If you look past the decor and bits that need updating and fixing this is such a find. \Apologies as run out of cold beers but can you give me 5 min I'll get them cold was the answer\. And then we got engulfed by all the local community by the bucket load, so you know the food will be amazing. Only 3 on with a miniture child holding court and so adds to the strong family atmosphere of the place. Starters turn up and they are amazing, the mains after and again nothing like it ever. This place is worth every penny and your time and willingness to open your pallet and try the most amazing food done so simply. All in all watch out aldershot this secret is not going to hide for much longer and I await the result.

An underrated restaurant in a saturated environment. As soon as we entered, we were welcomed by the host/waiter. He was a cherry man who made our time there better. The interior was plain yet clean, tables were lined with a blue cloth (We only tried the Nepalese menu) Their chowmein was good but their Jhir is the one that was truly a highlight and worth spending your pounds. It was well seasoned and cooked to tender yet crispy out layer. Through the meal the restaurant was empty toll the end where another group came which was strange as the service in general was good along with the food. My only concern was that the waiting time was a bit slow but the quality of the food had care and love.

I wanted to like this place. I really did. Visited to collect (because their Deliveroo link is broken) a takeaway at about 9:30 on a Saturday night. Place was deserted, two women glued to their phones up near the till. They were polite enough when they handed over our order. Food in general was a bit stale and uninspiring. Given the lack of activity in the restaurant the food we got was getting to the end of its saleable life. Lamb cubes were dry little lumps, other dishes were OK but uninspiring. All in all, they don't seem to be under much pressure to improve their game. Maybe the local Gurkha community is enough to keep them in business. I wont be ordering again. Shame really.
