Lockdown takeaways have been excellent, of high quality and very reasonably priced. Our last takeaway of dishes, reminiscing of the time they had their restaurant, was particularly good. Our entire family spread across four households enjoyed the best pretend evening out Zoom could provide.

I went last night with my partner for an excellent and entertaining chefs supper, hosted by Peter Vaughan to celebrate Burns Night. Sadly I still don't like whisky very much, but the haggis arancini, lamb stovies with the vanilla souffle to finish were delicious!

We ordered the Burn's night takeaway meal for last night and have to say, the food was truly fantastic! This was our first time ordering their takeaway (having enjoyed dining in the Bistro previously) and we did not know quite what to expect. The heating instructions were clear and simple and the food was just wonderful. To be honest it surpassed our expectations even as high as those had been. The depth of flavour to the cockaleekie soup was stunning and each subsequent course only got better still. Thank you for a truly fabulous meal. We can't wait to try other takeaway offerings.

We had a selection from the Spanish menu. We picked it up from the cookery school at Hopton Road on the outskirts of Devizes. Peter and his wife greeted us and were very friendly, making the whole experience special. The food was amazing. We had a selection of Falefels and the chicken and rabbit Meat Ragu. We finished off with a selection of desserts including the Bread and Butter Pudding with whisky. Thank you Peter and the team for giving us the next best thing to eating out somewhere special and reminding us of how much we miss the Bistro.

Vaughan’s kitchen are perfect. Peter Vaughan is so enthusiastic about the menu’s he creates and he’s really inventive with dietary requirements. The whole team were a joy to work with and they worked so hard on our wedding day! We really wanted local, sustainable food and Peter went above and beyond - he even sourced mozzarella from a farm NEXT to the wedding venue! You don’t need to look anywhere else - Vaughan’s Kitchen are the team for your event!
