I called and had agreed to hire a micro digger, I wanted to pay over the phone but the chap said it wasnt necessary until the day. 1 week before project was due to start they called out of the blue and said they had everything booked up for the next 3-4weeks. They did apologise in the message they left, but could have cost me the whole project cancelling so late.

A well stocked builders merchants. But best of all, they have a hire depot on site. The bloke who runs it is very helpful. Also they are alot cheaper to hire from than jewson, and don't charge you a 950 deposit just to hire a 1 ton digger. Hire from these people, you will be happy. Sydenhams have been there 5 years or more.....and I didn't know they hire stuff!!!!! I feel an advertising campaign coming on.

Bearing in mind that, as a layman, I sometimes don't really know what I'm after, I have found the staff to be unfailingly patient and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Quality is good. Delivery promptly on time. Would recommend Sydenhams Devizes at any time.
