I have been a member of this gym since it was Aspen. Since Genesis has taken over, the atmosphere has been amazing. The staff are very professional and good at communicating. Management is awesome, Matt is a great guy and is willing to drop everything to help his members. He treats us as we are his own friends. You can see it with-in the staff they like to help and encourage members. This is the place to workout, friendly atmosphere, good quality equipment. Overall a fun place to be.

I’ve been going here for a long time and am recently very happy with the management and facilities. Matt goes out of his way to get to know the members and I use the kids club which is always helpful in watching my son. The employees are always friendly and they do a good job of maintaining the facility and equipment better than ever!

I've been going to this gym for years, back when it was still Apsen. This gym is an awesome place to go workout, take classes, and learn many new things. The trainers are awesome, there's a few in particular that I see go above and beyond for the people that workout here. These guys are very helpful whenever you have a question about something and are more than willing to spare a few minutes to help you out and show you how to do something if needed. I highly recommend joining this place if you aren't a member already!!

There are a lot of great things I can say about the Merle Hay location specifically. It’s a bit smaller so I don’t feel lost in a sea of people but they have all the equipment I could need. The machines aren’t always full and are kept spotlessly clean. Since Covid19 became a thing I’ve been so impressed with their dedication to making sure everything is sanitary and we’re as safe as we can be. I work with a personal trainer and was worried about coming back to the gym at first but they’ve even provided an area that’s separated from the rest of the gym where a trainer can work with their client one-on-one. I feel much safer knowing that people that use that area always wear masks and have the same concerns for safety that I do. I would highly recommend Genesis Merle Hay to anyone looking for a new workout home and especially if they have interest in finding excellent personal training.
