Amazing from start to finish, had a 2 series which We part exchanged for a 3 series shadow edition. Used approved, the car was exactly what I was expecting. Was an absolute pleasure dealing with Lauren Snarey In the sales department. I would definitely recommend. Made the whole buying experience very easy.

2 stars for customer service, 4 stars for the guys in the back doing the garage work. Booked my car in for the battery cable recall with a loan car, then the day before it was due in I was called to say they've only just 'had the job card' and don't have any spare loan cars so I would either have to sort a lift or rebook for two months down the line.. so I arranged to go without transport as I didn't want to wait two months. When I dropped it off there was a guy in front of me who apparently had better luck as they'd sorted him with a vehicle but hey ho. Dropped the car in at 9ish, then I called at around 12:45 to check the progress and was told I would get a call back soon as the person dealing with it wasn't available, then I had to call another two times within two hours to actually get the call back. To be told it will be ready at 4. Anyway, picked up the car later and got home to find the guys in the garage had also tidied up my cables under the bonnet which was a nice little bonus. Thanks guys. Excellent service by Lauren! I read most of the Stratstone Derby reviews before I made the decision to buy my BMW X1, to be frank I was skeptical that I was going to experience a good service but I am very pleased I got help from Lauren. Every time I had a question she would promptly email or call to answer it even on her day off!! Most importantly she asked me the right questions about my part exchange and you can be very open with her during the sale process. If you are looking to buy a car from Stratstone Derby I would recommend Lauren Snarey, you will be in safe hands.

On the 20th of May I put a deposit on a \approved used\ BMW 520d F10 that just came in, received a video and I highlighted some defects from a low quality video, requested some pictures that I never received, waited a month cause the car was in preparation and cause of Covid-19 was taking so long. On the 27th of June I went to Derby from London only to spend 100 for the train and to see the most unapproved car I've seen in my life. Perhaps approved means washed or perhaps this is the approved service you get when you say you're going to pay cash, so why invest in a car that's already sold. I bought like 5 approved used cars till now, audi and bmw, all of them had refurbished wheels, no dents, scratches, basically like new. On this one in Strastone Derby, the wheels were not refurbished, rear o/s door trim was coming loose that I highlighted before I came to see the car, the rear bumper was pushed in so it was touching the trunk lid when closed and had marks of white paint on the rubber trim that pointed out poor spray job and that was just on a quick look. This was not an approved used car by my standards, I wish trusted the reviews I read before. Now I don't want to buy a BMW from Strastone franchise ever cause they've got such low standards. Or perhaps I should go back to Audi cause the A6 2.0 TDI now's got quattro and no issues with a chain.
