Talk about well set expectations, and during a Pandemic, these guys have it together when it comes to creating a fair and very enjoyable customer experience! They set expectations for you to “Enjoy your meal” within a quick timeframe, 30-45 min. For the 3 people dining in, that is 100% reasonable. For those who are not a fan of “wait times” you have to understand that if they did not set those expectations, the 1, 2, or 3 hour wait times during peak times would be MUCH longer for how they set up their waiting list. Solid there. Let’s talk about the food, man. Eric (our waiter) brought the most amazing looking and great tasting food I have discovered here in Denver. The atmosphere and the ambience is so pleasant and adds to the enjoyment, and very much worth the wait! My only feedback is to allow a small policy to enable Twitch streamers, and YouTube content creators to be live and come in to “share” that live experience with their viewers, local people watching, and the world coming to visit! Thank you for such a wonderful time! Cheers! Joseph

I found this spot on my morning stroll around Broadway. I’m visiting from NYC and I was looking for a breakfast place with some good food and coffee. They were extremely friendly and sat me right away at recently disinfected table, which assured me this place was following covid protocols. The sandwich is called The Lola and I added a fried egg, which made it even more spectacular. The biscuit was soft and buttery, bacon perfectly crisp and the fried chicken was flavorful. The maple syrup made the experience delightful and reminded me of home cooking. The coffee was delicious also, not that diner watered down junk. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Many of my friends said I had to try DBC. Naturally, I had to go with the biscuits and gravy. I added a side of fried chicken and it was worth it. My wife got a standard breakfast meal, but they forgot her biscuit, which kind of defeated the whole purpose of trying it. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t really live up to the hype.
This place is so neat. I loved the decor they have in the place, and the food was fresh and delicious. I had the Dahlia, which was absolutely amazing. The apple butter was definitely noticed, but it complimented the sausage. I also had Sully's Fries, smothered, and those were to die for. Absolutely stupendous. They do have vegetarian options available in the restaurant. The Ellsworth was decent, my husband said. He probably wouldn't get it again because he thought the ingredients didn't mesh well, but everything was cooked good. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The French toast as a side, wonderful. I love their biscuits and French toast because it was all a nice balance of moist and flaky. I'm happy that there's one in KC, because I'm definitely going to try that location.
Heard about this place and I was not disappointed. It was delicious. I struggle on what to get. Everything sounded so good. I ended getting the Franklin (hot) and it was perfect. My nephew had the PBJ and I took a piece of it and it went well with my coffee. I must comeback and try something different. Service was great and they were quick to give us our food. @raulvsfood
