I have been seeing Dr. Athen for years. The staff is courteous, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Athen always takes her time and never makes me feel like a number. She is very genuine, kind and caring.
I got a referral from my doctor to see Dr. Aten for wound care. When I got to her office , I was asked for my ID and insurance card. When I told the receptionist that it was workmans Comp, it was like she had a whole different attitude. She told me that the referral did not say anything about workmans comp. She also said that she was not there the day all my information was taken by another receptionist and she did not mention workmans comp, even though she and I talked about it. I would not go back to this incompetent office if they begged me.
