Dental IT are simply the best I’ve had experience of. Having felt let down in the past by several companies due to underperforming hardware, broken promises and delays in resolution of IT problems, I decided to speak to Liam on recommendation from a friend. He came out to my practice and carried out an in-depth analysis of our existing system, recommended some low-cost short-term solutions and presented a longer-term plan for hardware, fibre-optic broadband, telephony, maintenance and back-up solutions. It made so much sense I decided to go ahead and can honestly say it was one of the best business decisions I’ve made. Our system performs much better with very few issues. Their automated monitoring means any issues that do arise are identified and resolved quickly – frequently before we have actually become aware of an issue. Any hardware issues that occur get resolved quickly, even out of hours to minimise disruption to the business. It’s easy to track progress via the ticketing system. Just knowing that it is being dealt with instils confidence and frees you up to focus on the clinical aspects, just as it should be. All of that is great. But the most outstanding feature of this company is the level of customer service. Our hardware upgrade was planned for March 2018. Typically, when you make a plan, the heaviest snowfall for a decade started two days before the upgrade was due and continued for those two days. I was unable to get into work for those two days. But Liam and his engineer managed to come up to Glasgow that Saturday, and worked all hours to ensure installation was completed in time for surgery re-opening Monday morning. The much shorter version is – if you’re thinking of changing your IT company, go with Dental IT, they’re great!
