Beautiful country side park sprawling in massive area which provides mesmerising scenery and lots of activities for every ages through out the year. There are many walks which surrounds old quarries which are now turned in to lakes, Colne river and Grand Union canal. There is cafe next to canal which provides good food and beverages and great outdoor sitting especially for sunny days. And then there are couple of golf courses. Denham park is very well connected via A40 from London and Oxford. There are couple of car parks which charge reasonable 3.70 for entire day.
beyond beautiful. If you're deciding on where to go for a picnic on any good day, this place would be it. Loved exploring the fields, lakes and woods. There's a separate play area for the kids too. This park is one of the best places to visit in uxbridge.
This country park is part of the Colne Valley Regional park area. The Denham country park also includes the regional visitor centre. Nice little park with a couple of smallish car parks (one directly next to the visitor centre). You can follow the nature trail up to the canal, but isn't overly long route. There is also a cafe and playground for kids.
Quiet when we arrived at 9.30 but by 10 there were other kids in the playground. Cafe and toilets were not open until later in the morning. Very very muddy on the walks. Brass rubbing walk great for kids - bring paper and pencils
