Ate here with a social deal. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The food was low-quality and little attention was paid to presentation. The picture below represents my main dish - labeled as ‘gamba prawns’. As anyone can tell, gamba prawns are considerably larger. Further below - a steak. The steak was well cooked but loses points on presentation. In addition, you must pay extra for side dishes to accompany your main. 3,50 for fries, 3 for vegetables etc. I would strongly advise against coming here with a social deal, especially considering the price of the deal (25 p.p).

Margaritas are off the chain . We had fajitas, tamales, chili reano, it was all really good. Tamales came out Luke warm but server replaced them within 2 minutes. Great turn around Had to remind refills of salsa, chips, drinks, but overall really great service and food, we will be going back.
My wife and I were quickly accommodated here Christmas day although the restaurant was booked out. We had been enticed by the menu outside but this had been replaced by a special Christmas menu. The service and four course dinner that followed was excellent. The ambience was friendly, romantic and very pleasant. As we left we were given a wonderful Christmas present box of wine, cakes and biscuits. Thank you and well done to the staff.
Terrible experience. Waitress was inattentive. There were only two tables occupied in the restaurant and it still took over 15 minutes for her to take our order. Pork was over salted and the vegetables were frozen previously. Dessert was a thawed frozen cake. Overpriced do not recommend at all. My friend complained about the saltiness of the food and the staff did not offer to compensate us at all. There are much better restaurants are on the Denneweg where you can get value for your money.

Never again!!! Yesterday we went to Alexander because we read great reviews about this restaurant. We were excited to go and expected a great fine dining experience. Unfortunately this was not the case. Terrible service! The two waitresses didn’t look like they were able to give any advice about food and wine, which was quite odd since it is a high end restaurant. The starters came almost an hour in (there were 3 tables at that moment, including us) and the main course was not served according the menu card. There were a lot of ingredients missing, which we had to mention several times. After we finished our meals they didn’t clear out our tables because the waitresses were more busy on their phone, which is super unprofessional. We had to ask ourselves to clean out the table, get deserts or get some coffee instead of checking with us if everything was fine etc. At this moment we were the only table left. Overall the food was good, but the service was terrible! We didn’t feel very welcome and it was a bad experience. What a waste of money!
Do not enter, do not eat here, do not spend a dime here. Turn around and go elsewhere! A snackbar serves better food. Any other place serves better food. Whilst we were eating about 6 couples left without ordering. We should have done the same, but we were silly enough to stay and eat the frozen veggies and frozen meat. Stay away! Turn around and never look back! The restaurant Walter benedict across the road is a great place to go.
I went to the restaurant for a business dinner after calling and making a booking and specifying my dietary requirements and checking if they are alright with that. I sat down and looked on the menu and asked the waiter what gluten free vegetarian options can they provide. She went to the kitchen 3 times and she came back saying that they can’t make anything like that. I told her that on the phone they said that’s not a problem and they can make something. She replied that’s not the case. Was a very embarrassing moment because we had to leave the place since I couldn’t eat anything and it was a Friday evening so very hard to find any places anywhere. Extremely disappointed and bad service.
