Never judge a book on its cover. This place serves amazing food. The new location and concept is great. 9/10 The interior of the building and the looks of the menu card could use a bump in presentation, but the food is truely amazing and that's what ultimately matters. Everything from the entree to the dessert was prepared exceptionally well and in an unique way (including what I would consider standard dishes) that I have yet to see in other restaurants. Will definitely walk all the way from the beach to here again.
We were there with the Albert Hein actie (second 3-course meal for free). The waiter was extremely friendly, cozy atmosphere and very good quality of food. The duck was in any case one of the best I ever had! Also the swordfish was delicious. In general they have elaborate food. If you have to pay the full fair it is a bit expensive, for that reason: 4 stars.
Nice new location close to the old harbor. Good food and great service. Although not directly on the beach definitely worth a visit!

The service could be improved but the food was ok. We had the sliptong and the dourade fillet. Proef had cheaper prices than other places around for the same dishes.
