I absolutely love this place! Without a shadow of doubt, it is my favourite restaurant not only in Delft but so far in the Netherlands. As an Italian living abroad for many years, I feel very lucky to have the possibility of going to such a restaurant where I can feel like I never left Italy! Food quality and execution are excellent, with a precious attention to the selection of authentic ingredients. The service is of a higher standard than I have ever experienced in the Netherlands, friendly and professional. The newly restored location gives the place a cozy and lively atmosphere. I believe a true Italian restaurant abroad should be authentic not only in its cuisine but also in portraying the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is typical of our culture. Il Peperoncino achieves this in an effortless and brilliant way! I initially came here as just a regular customer but now I feel like I'm dining among friends!100% recommended!
Beautiful restaurant on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1835. Great ambience! Service was attentive but still gave our party plenty of time to visit. Wonderful food from the appetizers to the entrees!! And the desserts!! What a fantastic place to celebrate a special event or just life itself!
pasta of fruitti de mer is great. pizza is also nice，the bottom is thin and crispy. Salad I would suggest more friends to share. Because salmon and sauce are salty, taste good with bread. But one can get full before main dish.
When looking for a restaurant I always check first whether there is an authentic italian restaurant in town. I was pleasantly surprised by this one: absolutely great Italian food and staff. We've enjoyed!

Cosy little restaurant with very tasty food. I had the pappardelle with parmesan and truffles, which was not only exquisitely flavored but is also prepared in a large slab of parmesan set alight with grappa right next to your table! The tiramisu was also superb.
