It feels like a vacation for an evening when I head out to Loomis: a chance to relax with a movie, the sky sprinkled with stars, and oodles of fun food choices in the snack bar. It feels like a trip backwards in time!

What a night! Forgot my car radio was broke. Watched. The first half of the first movie without sound. Took a chance and asked the concession stand if they had any radios, and they did! The radio didnt work for our screen but we could hear the rated R movie playing behind us. Lol. Took another chance of moving the car to see if we could get better reception and we did! Watched and heard the entire second movie... Was fun. My son even told me he had more fun with me than he would have had with one if his friends... What a gift! Making Memories.

This drive in is very dated and does not make enough money to support itself. I can see it closing very soon. That being said it was wonderful for a while and then it got really bad. The new owners took over and are trying to make it better but it needs hundreds of thousands of dollars of improvement. If you can stand the dated facilities and issues it is a very fun time. But it's like a very roughneck experience. The bathrooms are very unclean and need to be both remodeled and expanded. The parking lot can become a mud pit. The concession stand is old and has very limited facilities. However this drive in is ver nostalgic to me. I used to frequent it as a kid. Looking at the bright side it has decent food and decent prices. But bring cash, don't try to use credit cards. It has a polite staff. And it has decent screens. As one person mentioned there is that annoying security light at screen one. Overall if you want a proper drive in experience go to the Transit Drive in. If you want a community and family experience go here.

So many memories here. So many movies. So many.......yeah..... Great place. Take your Skeeter sticks. Hope it sticks around for years to come.

Great going to the drive-in! Go! They need more patrons. Don't want to see it close! The only problem was there was a very bright security light at a business across the road that washed out the picture somewhat. Very distracting. They need to put a wall or screening below the screen to correct that. I don't think I'll go back if the movie I want to see is on screen one. I liked that we could bring the dogs though. They had a great time with the kids there and playing out in the back.
