This is a great local farm shop that sells excellent local produce. Initially I gave it a 4 star review but as i've used the shop more and more I've decided to increase the review to 5 star. All the fresh produce is traced to where it cam from. The meat is butchered on premise and the shop can tell you what is coming and keep any special cuts you want, such as chops with the kidney still in. The meat has always been good quality and good value when you consider the lack of waste. What really made me increase my stars was the veg and especially the delicious sweetcorn. It reminded me what fresh corn on the cob really tasted like. A great find and well worth support for the industry and the commitment to local quality products.
Bought a 4.5 Kilo ForeRib of beef for my birthday celebration. The taste and texture was magnificent.
I have just eaten the tastiest Pork Steak EVER.. the favour and texture was to die for.. a Rare Breed Steak and boy could you taste the difference... cooked quickly on the BBQ just like you would a Beef Rump steak (Which I’ve also had the pleasure of eating) Will be back Thank you so much
