The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer’s mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. This is one of the restaurants that we were literally waiting to re-open and even called their number few times to check if they had. Once we knew they had, we have already visited NY from NJ, twice. Since Indikitch(Deep) is a chain that serves the same type of items across all locations like a Subway or Chipotle, I’ll just keep it specific to this location where we had a pleasant experience recently. Everything has now changed customer safe in the pandemic world that ensures contactless checkout. Now there is a self checkout register where you make your own orders, pay upfront and then collect them once ready. Koftas, soups and garlic naans are some new items featuring in their menu. We ordered veg kofta biryani, paneer dosa, samosa and garam chai. When we were waiting for garam chai, Imaami at the checkout informed that they have run out of chai and would be willing to do a replacement or a refund. We took a samosa chaat for replacement and she surprised us with a complimentary mango lassi to go with the order and apologized vehemently for no mistake of hers. Now, that we call an outstanding customer service! We did a pick out, came home and ate and the items were absolutely delicious, true to their standards.

Nice Indian fast casual type restaurant, remind me of an Indian Chipotle. Food tasted great even though it wasn't as spicy as I would have expected it to be. It was very quiet when I went and the service was great. I ordered pulled pork vindaloo and it was great. Would definitely like to go again.

Indian fast food. Order your food by going through the line and your food is ready when you pay for it. The meal fire platter was a good amount of food and everything tasted great. Spice level one is decently spicy, like a mild plus.

Great place to pick up some quick curry. You can choose your protein and then pick your curry sauce. Then you also get a choice of veggie curry and a side salad with white rice and or naan. Food was delicious and generous serving.

Visited on Dec 27 evening for take out due to a great pre-covid experience at their 8th ave location. Seems like their business at this location is not doing well or just poorly managed as we got served stale food that seemed to have been lying around for a while. Rotten smelling tomato cucumber, sour (gone bad) spinach as well as other items smelled stale. Disappointing!
