I'm not sure the negative comments on here are all that fair, maybe more of an inconsistency on different days and lunch to dinner shift. But I came here for Sunday night, ordered a large cod and medium chips (the peas I made myself, because who wants to pay almost 2 for mushy peas?!) - Although it wasn't greasy as others have reviewed it to be, it definitely wasn't fresh because you can tell the fish is quite tough and doesn't quite fall off the fork. Nonetheless the batter was nice, not greasy at all. Was disappointed that it was 2 small cod's instead of one large and the chips aren't exactly a generous portion. I watched a heart attack amount of salt being poured over another customers which put me off, and would always want to do it myself. It was still nice and I enjoyed my dinner. Overall - service wasn't all that efficient considering it wasn't made to order. Slightly on the pricey side considering average taste.

Ordered online. Picked up. Order was wrong when got home and missing chips. Accept these things happen but what really annoyed me was that I filled in their online form pointing out issue and asking for that bit of the money back and didn't even get a reply. Avoid at all costs and use the other ones in Thornbury instead.
Got home to find that our order was wrong and also that there was batter in my gluten free chips. I took them back and I was told this was gluten free batter. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't but as a coeliac I decided to give my chips away to a non coeliac.
DO NOT USE! ... Absolute joke of a place! Used back in the summer, delivery took well over a hour and half and food was rubbish. Decided to give the place a second chance tonight as Parkys is closed. BIG mistake! Ordered food around 5:30/6pm. Around 7:30 Got call saying delivery driver couldn't find our street, 45mins later still no food so we call shop, no reply. We check app and its marked as delivered, yet we are still waiting for food. 8:15pm food gets delivered. One meal is baged up separately in bags not in a box. Partner ate his and said it was horrible . I refuse to eat my meal and will be taking it back to shop tomorrow for refund. Will never be using again and look forward to some decent fish and chips from Parkys tomorrow instead.
Usually food is really good, unfortunately tonight staff were too busy having a chat and the chips were really dry, none of my family managed to finish their meal. Will try again another day but disappointed tonight.
