I don’t understand why it takes over 2 weeks to make an appointment. I have left my phone number and no one has called me back. This is a horrible system

I was late for my appointment and they accommodated me. Unexpected but pleasantly surprised.
Took the Lil lady there to get a prescription filled... didn't take much time at all to get it done.
This is by far the worst place on earth for veterans. If you are a care receiver your treated horribly. I have been there many times. Most employees act like you are the problem. Try calling and you get greeted by someone who sounds like they just woke up. Go into the VA and you see it for yourselves. These people need to be replaced by people that want to help veterans, not just looking for a paycheck. I have seen them come into work....then go to the cafeteria (something that should be done before your hours begin). The only people there worth anything are the few employees, techs, and doctors that want to help. I despise this place and dread going. Don't get me started on the parking....
The VA don’t care about veterans at all. The United States military just want to use us all they can and throw us away. They don’t care about your mental health or health in general. They will do anything in their power not to help you the way you should be helped. The VA doesn’t care if veterans or active duty personnel commit suicide or not. It will just be one less body that they have to worry about giving benefits to that that veteran earned and made sacrifices for that they never would. The VA is playing a dirty evil game with peoples lives and they all really seem to enjoy it.
