Lovely food! Had a cheese and charcuterie board. We were told lots about the different cheeses and chose 4 to try. Great place and will definitely be back :)
This is a really small bar / restaurant but provided a brilliant experience for a group of friends to catch up. There were only two members of staff working which shows the tiny scale of the place but fortunately they were both efficient and attentive throughout our stay. The menu could have done with being more descriptive, such as outlining what each dish and platter came with but the staff were able to give a good overview. There’s a fantastic range of cheeses on offer and the portion sizes served certainly aren’t scrimped on! The sharing patters are presented well with a good selection of grapes and chutney. Complimentary baskets of bread were provided which was delicious and there was no issue getting refills. Wine selection is good too at reasonable prices. Overall it is a wonderful place for a relaxing evening with good friends. There’s a nice atmosphere and for cheese lovers the best option in the town. I’ll certainly be returning!
Top quality cheese and wine, just off the high street. Very relaxed atmosphere with knowledgeable service. Can’t recommend enough.
