I love visiting here with my children. Lots of different routes to take. You can walk by the old Barnsley canal, there is the fishing lake, woods to explore, bridges to cross, a small park and skate park. Great place for adventure.

Excellent well maintained country park suitable for all ages offering a huge range of activities including fishing, jogging, cycling, picnic areas, a purpose built Concrete skatepark, children's play area or some where just to go for a gentle walk any time of the year.
My favourite running/relaxing place, what can be more beautiful than nature himself!
It's a beautiful place, too unwind, sit and enjoy nature. Also a great place to meet with others when restrictions allow.
Car park play area skate\\schooter park Quiet walk round lake , picnic area and wood some easy paths plus many steps going further leading along canal to asda ect a good scenic 4 mile round trip. Good exercise .
