We had a lovely weekend there The weather was sunny and the beach was nice and quiet, not having sand on the beach was the best part. I tried something different which is walking on a gravel beach it was hard and painful but I really enjoyed it.

Enjoyed it. Never visited a gunnery b4. Cos Covid restrictions, not many people - always more enjoyable. Come across a volunteer tour guide who was highly informative which made the visit greatly more interesting. Good 4 people who like history.
I am fond of Deal Beach. I have visited often since I was a child and love looking round the Catle and walking the Strand. If you wander towards Walmer you will see the bandstand that was erected for the Military Band Barracks explosion which often has brass bands playing. Back in Deal beach I like to stroll along the pier. There are not amusements, only fishermen and a cafe as a reward for getting to the end. There are a lot of well placed benches as the Pier is quite long.
Plenty of walking great concessions perfect day out
One of the best places we visited when exploring the Kent coast. Clean, well maintained and town centre full of open shops.
Great for an autumn walk, followed by fish and chips on a bench looking out to sea
Nice place to watch the seagulls with a takeaway coffee
Me & my family had a lovely day here on Sunday we enjoyed it we spent most of the day in the water on my kayak it is very clean as well we will definitely be going back at some point
