The hotel was really great, when you enter you will have the feeling that you are in a museum, because everything there is old school. I really love the place and the view was really awesome. There is one thing I didn't like at all is the staff, they were really unfriendly and so so rude with the clients especially during breakfast. I had no problems but I could feel the way they treated the customers while they keep asking what is that food? Is there anything like that... All these questions were ignored and the staff just laughed at the clients. Really the hotel owner should check that and solve it as quick as possible.

I spent there three nights. They welcome dogs and ppl. Breakfast was included in the price. They are very nice, especially the night Lady. The rooms are very big and functional. Nothing fancy. The antiques collection of the owner, that is displayed all over the hotel, is impressive. We had a great time there despite Covid-19.
A beautiful place with beautiful people
Convenient location,good to reach Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam etc. Hotel bit like shop of curiosities. Rooms need updating really badly. Breakfast just about covers it. Bit chaotic with bus tours at buffet. However price reflect this.
Quirky, fun, cool hotel. Nice bar area, great collection of antiques displayed throughout. Very unique.
Proximity to and fro from Amsterdam makes it an ideal place to enjoy a boat ride with not many tourist crowding your view of serene and calm boat ride. Must visit if staying near Amsterdam and if you want a quality time with your family.
Great hotel. Large clean rooms. Daily towel changes. Hot powerful shower. Soft clean and very comfortable beds. Friendly and informative staff. Lovely fresh locally sourced food. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel
Rooms are very spacious and warm perhaps due to the heated floors in the bathrooms. Really unique hotel, have vintage items and has an emu and a turkey wandering. Funky. As for the food... Plates and cups were unclean which is quite grotesque. Breakfast mainly consists of cold food and is basic and plain. Dinner wasn't great. Undercooked pasta... Otherwise it was interesting. Oh and there weren't any bins in the room except for the bathroom. The bed sheets were dirty too.
