I used to go and order from De Mole regularly for years. It was my favorite Mexican place in the area. Apparently it's under new management now and these are the changes: The prices were raised The food quality dropped Some of the portion sizes are significantly smaller Some menu items have disappeared Prices obviously raise over time, (especially in times like these) and the food wasn't terrible, but this is a really bad combination and this restaurant is clearly not moving in the right direction. I hope they can go back to how good they used to be.

I love this place. Friendly service and delicious tasty food. The dessert, coconut flan is AMAZING!!!! The prices are reasonable and you feel comfortable and never rushed out. They sell beer now which is a plus.
I’ve been going to Mole since I was 10 years old (started at the Woodside location) and all I can say is that I won’t be ordering from here again. The portions are a lot smaller, the quality of the food has gone down and the prices have gotten a lot higher. My mom also had a bad experience with them and they charged her a lot more than they should’ve. She has been going for the same amount of time I have. We even knew the original owners! Sorry De Mole but you’ve officially lost 6 customers :/
Great food and service! Would recommend steak burrito and tamales. Accidentally ordered from woodside location but the owner was so nice to make us another order on the spot! He explains his brother used to own the restaurant but bc he has taken over both woodside and Astoria he can reorder my meal here. So grateful! I will definitely be coming back again!
Decent Mexican food at very reasonable prices especially for Astoria. The wait staff here are all great, very friendly. They no longer have a liquor license so no BYOB. The menu has the usual Mexican staples like tacos, burritos, etc. But they also have unusual items like squash blossom quesadilla which was very good. Another good dish is the taco salad. Very flavorful, albeit kinda small. The chicken taquito is another good dish. It's a good appetizer for sharing. Not too oily and it comes in six pieces. They have these sauces on the table, a green and red sauce that you can put on your food for more flavor. Surprisingly, the green sauce is terrible. No taste and very watery. Thankfully the red sauce is good. Had a nice kick to it. We doused our food with the red sauce. Overall, we found the food to be fresh, simple and honest with good vegetarian options. We'll be back.
