I am glad to see you back open! What a beautiful property, and I love the additional land we can park on (It has been a few years since we visited). Thank you for the fire pit.. it was the icing in my anniversary vacation. My wife and I got to relax and enjoy ourselves while having incredible craft beer. I am sure you realize Dennis is a valuable employee, and we can't thank him enough for making our stay special!

One of my favorite places in Honduras, they have an amazing craft beer and you can have such an amazing time surrounded by trees and bonfire, the rooms are comfy and have an affordable price, you can do kayak and other activities near the area.
Amazing and beautiful lodge with artisanal beers and good food. Also have seasonal beers to try. Some good trails nearby and up the hill. The prices are very reasonable and I'd love to come back some time.
An oasis is Honduras - staff who remember your name and are very friendly. Beautiful, well kept area. The other reviews about "long" waiting time for food...of course it is going to take more than 10 minutes since we are in the jungle & they are making it fresh? I cannot wait to come back here. Heidi can give a great tour thru coffee plants and show you an incredible view of the region.
Just like one of the people I met there " D&D is a little oasis in the middle of nowhere". I really enjoyed my time there, food was nice, beer was awesome, the rooms are clean and the personnel treats you nice. I am so happy I choose to come here rarher than Nicaragua. It is a place I would love to come back and chill
Enjoyed an extended stay at D&D and give this place 5 stars. Food: clean kitchen, large portion sizes, quality menu with extensive options. High quality coffee. Drinks: craft beer on site, what more can you ask for! Staff: gave me hugs when I arrived! Super hospitable & attentive. Owner is a legend. Decor: no matter where you stand on the property there is a canopy of trees above you. It’s gorgeous. Amenities and accessibility: Games, massage (!!!), reading shelf, nearby coffee and bus station, several trails and a lot more. Two amazing cats on site (one of them loves to cuddle, in case you get the backpacker blues.) Bonus: many of the available tours accommodate the adventurous who prefer to be self-guided (but there are also tours for those who prefer to be chauffeured). Best part: this place is rammed on the weekends with both locals and backpackers. The perfect hybrid to satiate a thirst for international flavour.
Really nice getaway. It's in a great location, next to the lake and close to some attractions. It's a safe place and they keep the entrance and parking lot locked at night. I stayed in a regular room with a private bathroom, it was decently comfortable and spacious. The only issue was the lack of hot water in the shower. Overall, a quality cool place with great beer and chilled vibes.
