It’s just not possible to go wrong with anything you order here. The chef is incredible and his skill and sheer mastery show through in every dish he creates. The owner is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, really the entire staff is amazing. Lily’s is clean, bright, and welcoming with multiple patios and dining rooms. They have vegan options as well as awesome featured drinks and curbside pickup options. My only regret is that I don’t live closer, I’d be eating there every day.

The Oregon District is lined with phenomenal dining experiences but over our now 7 years of regular meals from brunch to dinner throughout this short run of 5th street, we constantly find ourselves coming back to Lily's Bistro. We fell in love with their culinary innovation back in 2013 and despite changes to kitchen staff including their head chef, they continue to impress us with unexpected flavor combinations, personal twists on classic cocktails, and increasingly meatless options. Before the pandemic, a jazz pianist would occasionally play live music in a lofted area above the bar. The patio is dog friendly. And the staff are nothing short of spectacular. We highly recommend Lily's Bistro for anything from Sunday brunch with friends, to an intimate romantic evening.
We are so pleased to see so many veg and vegan options in Dayton! And a lovely dog friendly patio. My parents go bananas for the chicken dinners. And the drinks are good for all of us. My dad takes my mom here for her birthday; it’s their thing. Thank you for being the family you are, providing the food and drinks you do, and for putting up with ALL that you do. Dayton is lucky to have your investment. ️️️
Amazing service! And an even more amazing staff that cares for their customers. As we were eating dinner a rude customer came in not wearing a mask. The staff politely asked him to wear a mask and when he didn’t he threatened to give them a 1 star rating. This review is support Lily and to counter any BS they may leave about today’s events. Artsy and locally concerned restaurant in the Oregon District with a delicious menu and professional servers. I love that they use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and have so many good drinks on the menu. The staff was very friendly. This definitely felt like a chill, trendy hipster spot with an upscale vibe. I came for pumpkin fest and enjoyed the soft lightening, trendy music and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely come when traveling to Dayton.
