Had the 400g steak. It was excellent and cooked perfectly medium rare. The fries and the beer were great too. The other reviews do not lie! Delicious meal, very quick and attentive wait staff. I was pleasantly surprised to see the food arrive as quick as it did and it was certainly tasty.

The other reviews do not lie! Delicious meal, very quick and attentive wait staff. I was pleasantly surprised to see the food arrive as quick as it did and it was certainly tasty. If I had more time I would certainly revisit Dayo! The waiters are friendly, the plates hearty and the food is delicious, highly recommended. It’s also clean and fast.

Trusted other reviews online and since the restaurant was close to our hotel, we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! We arrived shortly after opening at 19.30, were the first to order and the service was great. And the food - marvellous! We had grilled octopus to share as a starter, sea bass and ceviche of tuna as main courses, and lemon meringue as a desert. Everything was so fresh and nicely prepared and beautifully presented. True, not huge portions but in fact, they are just enough to make you feel full but not uncomfortable. Definitely recommend the place - it is not in the main Old Port area, one has to go a street up, but what it lacks as views compensates with the food!

Almost missed such wonderful cooking. The thing with the restaurant is that: you could easily walk pass it without noticing it because it doesn't have the most attractive decor. There is a tiny terrace on the side walk but the inside seemed a bit dull. The menu is short and simple. We ordered grilled rougier on toast, fillet of fish with bouillabaisse emulsion & risotto and beef tartare. We were one of the 2 tables there that time so the service was great. The fish was cooked to perfection, every dish were light, fresh and well-balanced. The only possible downside was that the portions weren't enormous. I was good but if i was starving before, I would've found it lacking. Still, I would recommend this restaurant because it was a gem. Also the man there was super friendly.

My son and I still reminisce about our meal at this amazing little restaurant. It rates among one of the best meals I have ever had. We both want to return there again to relive the amazing experience.

We just arrived in Marseille and this was the first place we ate at - now I’m not sure anything can top it. Everything was so delicious. We ordered the catch of the day and the entrecôte (steak). They came with a side of seasoned vegetables. We also had some very good rosé and the Nutella tiramisu for dessert. Our server was so friendly and helpful and we could not have enjoyed a better meal!
