Myself and a friend wanted to go to Michealangelo’s but they were fully booked. One of the staff there recommended David’s so we went to check it out. The place was fully booked looking from outside but the owner saw us leaving and asked us to wait two minutes while they prepared a table for us. We decided to wait and this was a very good decision as the food was amazing. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. I’d strongly recommend this place.

We visited the restaurant for lunch yesterday. I can honestly say it was the best food we have eaten in a very long time. Each course was amazing! The staff and owner were friendly and efficient. All the rules for covid 19 were being adhered to without losing the friendly comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as I would say it is the best restaurant in Carlisle. Definitely value for money. We will be visiting again very soon.

Really great food. Came one Friday lunch time and didn't know Carlisle, but researched and this place looked the best. We weren't disappointed either. Food was great, and one of the tastiest pieces of beef I've had in a long while (and I've eaten a ton!). Will definitely be back. (Strange 80s decor though )
