David H Myers Opticians Churchtown

My family have been patients for over 10 years, during this time we have all had excellent service, from everyone in the team, they all go out of their way to help if you have a problem with glasses or lenses and keep regular checks on our eye health. This is not the cheapest optician in Southport but it is definately the best and I wouldn't even think of changing to another optician even if they were offering buy 1 get 1 free. Excellent service. Staff friendly and attentive. Thorough eye test given by the optician who took the time to find me the right pair of glasses. Very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend David Myers Opticians Churchtown.

I recently visited David H. Myers Churchtown Branch for an overdue eye test, and specifically asked the Optometrist to prescribe Distance glasses for Driving... How disappointed I was to find that the view of my Dashboard was pin-sharp yet reading car numbers beyond 20 Meters was virtually impossible... I subsequently returned to the branch pointing out my disappointment and was politely informed that the Prescription was correct for me, and that my 'early cataracts' were responsible for my problem... Un-satisfied with this prognosis I had another eye test at Vision Express, Southport, and was advised after a most thorough examination that the Prescription Myers had supplied was not satisfactory for long distance usage... I am delighted to report that my new Vision Express glasses are brilliant, and enable me to easily read car numbers at beyond 60 Meters... It just goes to show that paying almost twice the price is not always good value !... You can guess where I'll be going for my next test... M.C.I.Allen.
