A bit commercial (shops, cafes) but not overcrowded due to covid impact. Good to spend one hour or so. People are nice and warm. Maybe not enough local cuisine and truly feel of Turkey

Very tidy and well protected village. Old Datca village must seen when you go Datca. Streets with perfect photo opportunities. And good small pansions. Car park at the entrance is free and a good location to start village. Try to lost in this magnificent streets.

Very beautiful architecture. It's a shame that the newly constructed buildings in modern Datça don't conform to this boutique local style anymore

Visited Old Datca at the beginning of May (off-season), when it's quiet and uncrowded. It is a place to enjoy the amazing Aegean nature full of very well protected and restored old stone houses. You can have long walks in between terrains, mountains and breathe one of the freshest air. My stay in Old Datca Houses was quite satisfactory. The atmosphere of rooms, gardens is really chilling. Cats, turtles and sometimes very friendly dogs are roaming around, accompanies you in your hiking inside the village. House owners Erol Bey and his wife Zvart, as well personnel are very warm-hearted, welcoming and helpful. I felt like in my home during my stay. The only thing that gave me just a bit discomfort was the music playing in the street and in the restaurant. They play comforting music however I believe it could be just a little bit low for sound sensitive people. I highly recommend this place to stay for its authenticity, thoughtful house owners and quality.
