My first time visiting this place and everything was absolutely delicious. My 2yr old and 5yr old are very picky eaters but ate all of their food including mine. We will definitely be returning.

This was one of the best fried chicken dinners I’ve ever had! The chicken was just plain perfect. Perfect crisp, snap, juicy, hot. Perfect. All of the sides were delicious. The collard greens were firm and had a good spice. The mac ‘n’ cheese was delightfully creamy. Cornbread was moist. The fried mushrooms were recommended by the server and they were awesome! The only thing I wish we could’ve gotten here was a drink with bourbon in it. Or a beer. But the sweet tea was an excellent substitute. Enjoyed that too!

We ordered takeout - 2 3-piece chicken dinners, with 2 sides and a roll. The food was good and held up fresh for takeout. However, our total was 46 for 6 pieces of chicken and 4 sides. Unfortunately, while good food, it didn’t justify that cost, and our budget doesn’t allow for that amount of expense for two fried chicken dinners. This may be a good option for a special occasion, but unfortunately it’s probably our last time ordering from them. I sincerely hope the owners do well, and succeed.

Fried chicken, sweet potato casserole and broccoli casserole were terrific. Potato salad did not taste homemade -- more like GFS. A bit on the pricey side. Wish dine in was available at the Bardstown Road location.

Easily one of the best food establishments in the city. Had the food twice and was blown away by the quality both times. If you haven’t eaten here you’re truly missing out. The dine-in experience was great. The staff was extremely nice and fairly quick considering the size of the group. The takeout experience was equally wonderful. I have been so excited to eat that I forgot to take pictures! Don’t sleep on this place! The owner and workers clearly know what they’re doing.
