Great bunch of guys, only a 3 or 4 minute sail to the other side but saves about 40 miles around trip to Dartmouth, can get about 8 cars on board at a time, they have 2 ferry's running at busy times so the wait is minimal.

Hassle free experience and very safe/reliable service, the staff are very helpful.
Cheap to cross with a car 6 one way- waited 10/15 mins but got on and off the little trawler quickly and no fuss. Found parking on the Dartmouth side easily and enjoyed a few hours wandering around the quaint streets before driving home via Totnes
This is a nice friendly ferry service, with a happy and knowledgeable staff. It even fun to watch when your not on it.
