One of the loveliest places in our part of Kent to visit. You are made so welcome from the beginning of your visit at the gate, through the gardens to the World Garden itself. If you visit on a day when the house is open it is well worth taking a look inside where you can learn all about the history of the castle. No matter what time of the year you visit there is always plenty to see and Tom is usually around the garden shop area, always willing to chat and answer questions about plants around the world. Don't forget a visit to the church in the grounds and you can also pop in to the marquee for a cuppa and a slice of cake before you end your visit.

Was nice if you wanted to walk a long walk. Brilliant for dogs, bit difficult with a pushchair. The discovery walk was fun to find all the log beasts and play areas along the way.

The castle itself was closed due to Covid-19, but the Gardens are wonderful to visit, and could spend a whole day! Absolutely wonderful! Worth a second visit
