Excellent customer service! Even in such difficult times. Mr. Paul and Chris were so helpful and patient in helping me find a decent bike for my daughter as, I am a first time buyer and know nothing about bikes. Excellent customer service, from reception, until delivery. They took the challenge of my old bike to heart. Mr. Paul, mechanic extraordinaire, did not give up until he found a suitable solution to bring my ride back to life, using ingenuity and experience, to make up for off the market spare parts. Took my Boardman bike in for a service and brake replacement. From the start, the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, I was told the service would take about a week to complete which was fine by me as I understood that cycling has dramatically increased due to COVID. Service completed to high standard but they didn’t have my exact brakes in stock as they’re not the most common brakes but that didn’t stop them, they managed to source the brakes via a third party, get them delivered and fitted, all under the 7 day turn around advised. I couldn’t be more happier with service and expertise, would highly recommend.

My wife used the Dartford branch on Sunday to address a puncture she had on the front tyre. After collection she rode to work the following morning only to realise that the rear tyre was defective. After only a short ride she came to notice the rear tyre was off the steel rim causing her to abandon her journey to work. There was nothing wrong with the rear tyre before it’s spell at cycle king. We took the bike back to the shop only to be met by two young lads who seemed very disinterested to help or offer any kind of explanation of why the rear tyre popped off. With that we left for another cycle outlet that could offer us better service. The issue was corrected immediately without fuss or resistance. It’s a shame ,we have used cycle king often, but no more.
