Summer or winter, this place is the best when you wanna get some fresh air, soak in some nature. A short bus or a bicycle ride from the Darmstadt city center.

I have been coming from last three years. Very calm and quiet. You can paddle boat here for half hour and one hour for 9 and 14 euros for 4 persons and you pay one more for family boat. There is a play area for kids and families can enjoy a good BBQ party here. It’s usually crowded on weekends.

A nice place to visit with the family, theres a small play area for kids to have fun. Plenty of ducks call the lake home and its nice to see them go about their lives. There's also provision for boating in the lake and theres also mini golf. Huge forest surrounds the lake where you can go for a hike/run.
