Had an issue with water ingress from a shared roof into neighbouring property , Dan came promptly and,although had to be chased up regarding quote - always got back to us . Once work started the lads worked well and professionally,and very tidy. The quote was competitive and I felt reasonable based on other ones I received. Dan was knowledgable and professional and have no doubt if there was a problem with the work done he would rectify immediately (no issues after 6 weeks) Would recommend and use again.

Having asked for quotes from the 'Rated People' website, Dan came over promptly to assess the job. He was knowledgeable about older properties and offered a number of price options. His quote was very competitive and I was happy for him to go ahead with the work. The work (a complete re-roof using exiting tiles where possible) was carried out through the worst of the February and March weather. Even though, at times, there we no slates on the roof it never leaked. I found him and the team to be hard-working, professional and conscientious throughout. I found Dan willing to answer all my queries and he regularly came over to inspect the work. As well as the agreed roofing and guttering work, the team also installed some chimney cowls, repaired a roof beam and installed an extractor fan vent for me. The work was, unfortunately, delayed by Corona-virus but recommenced quickly as soon as it was possible. Once finished, the site was tidied and left clean. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the work and would definitely use Ranson Roofing again in the future.
Dan, Stuart and the team did a great job installing a new roof on our old property. The initial start date was delayed due to covid restrictions and neighbours thought we were mad to have a new roof in December but to be honest it can rain heavily in August. The cold and wet made it difficult for the team but they just got on with it with no complaint (at least not in our earshot!). The workmanship was excellent and the finished roof looks great. The team turned up at 8 every morning and worked until they ran out of light and at the end of the job they came back to tidy up. We only have one roof and hopefully we won't need any further work (unless we move of course), but would highly recommend Dan and his team on price, workmanship and professionalism. Wishing the team a safe and healthy 2021!
Ranson Roofing did a wonderful job re-pointing our chimney stack that was in desperate need of repair. Although not the cheapest quotation we received, after seeing the level of craftsmanship and quality materials used on completion of the job, we had no regrets whatsoever. Ranson were extremely prompt in getting an estimate to us, they gave knowledgeable advice, were punctual, hardworking, honest and reliable throughout. We would strongly recommend to anyone and everyone.
New roof installed by Ranson. Very competitive quote and it detailed all work to be undertaken. The two lads installing it were very knowledgeable and even made a suggestion to change colour of ridge tiles which has made it look better. I mis read the quote bso didn't get gutters changed which I needed doing, but Dan was able to quickly sort out and got the lads back to install them whilst scaffolding was up. Obviously roof not tested yet but would have confidence if something was wrong Dan would solve it. Excellent company and would recommend.
