Wonderful open variably endowed green space, very pleasant to stroll in, old town walls surrounding add a lovely touch, elegant residential homes surrounding the green field very pleasant to look at. Spanish tapas shack a great addition.

Had coffee there today. They also serve food, there are a few benches to sit on plus a couple of tables. Easy access for everybody. Ive no idea about opening or closing times. Service was quick.
My favorite place in Canterbury. I love this park. Perfect to visit it any sunny morning with a latte and enjoy the sun. There is a maze for kids, the Latin takeaway cafe, drinking water tap, free public toilet
Beautiful, well tended park with a popular kiosk providing South American style food and various drinks.
One of Canterbury's most pleasant parks. The central path is a lime tree avenue and the many plant beds are well-tended. There are several sculptures in the gardens with the central fountain being of note. There is a wooden fort for children to play in and plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by. The gardens are set against the city wall with a large mound topped by a statue, which you can walk up to.
