Ordinarily, this is a lovely place to visit. You can let the kids run around or have a gentle stroll around the lakes and through the woods. On Saturday, I walked through the park on the finishing stretch of a 5 mile circular walk. The walk itself was perfect - I hardly saw a single soul but, oh my goodness, I couldn't get through the park quick enough. The car park was full. There was an ice-cream van selling hot drinks and there were people everywhere! If you're looking to keep safe and avoid contact with others, this is not the place to visit on a dry, sunny Saturday.

Well kept park ideal for walking our retriever, with a friendly ice cream van serving hot drinks and bacon rolls!

Very pleasant, fairly small but popular country park. Nice pathways around the lake and around the woods, so fairly flat but some can get quite muddy so less suitable for pushchairs. Two sets of toilets, only the lakes ones are open in lockdown but clean and with hot water. Van on site in car park selling refreshments. Can pay for parking with app or online in advance which is handy.

Lovely walk. On this visit finding a place to buy a hot drink was a bonus. A permanent modest catering facility would I am sure be a worthwhile attraction.
