Stunning and picturesque! Highly recommend for anyone feeling like getting lost in the forest. Beside the different hiking trails which are quite short, one can visit coffee shops located within the premises or surrounding areas. Absolutely loved the Lee Lee Nam art centre, situated in the heart of the forest. Each season offers a stunning and unique view and perspective of the forest

Magnificent park with thousands and thousands of Bamboo trees! The atmosphere of calmness and zen. Relaxing zones for contemplation of nature and Korean traditional garden art and design. Sunbeds, benches, playgrounds and waterfalls.

This place was great! It's very beautiful and peaceful. There's a couple cafes inside so you can grab a coffee or tea while you walk. The trees hadn't really gotten their leaves back just yet, but the bamboo was nice and green. I think it would be even more beautiful after the trees get their leaves back!

I visited this place on a half day trip from Gwangju by bus 311 from U Square. The bamboo forest is incredibly peaceful and offers a great escape from the summer heat. There are a few cafes in the forest that sell coffee and bamboo leaf flavored ice cream. The art museum is also an interesting place to drop by on your way to the villages near the back door of the forest. There’re several photo spots along the way too so make sure to bring your camera.
