Wonderfully serene place up on a ridge with huge chalet rooms, beautiful views, great pool and amazing food. The Sri Lankan dinner was made up of so many delicious curries, so hard to resist eating until we were stuffed! Just a few touches needed to make it a bit more comfortable, think it has just been taken over from the previous hotel (Dambule Chalets) but nothing that detracts from the overall experience and it’s pretty great value. Didn’t have the best start when we arrived after a 16hour journey only to be told I had to pay (again) after having already done so but not entirely their fault, suggest that you avoid booking through Agoda for this place though.

Beautiful hotel with the environment, But it is very difficult to reach the hotel, comfortable cars can not come to the entrance. Fist you have to repair the road or you must operate a cart service from the main road to the entrance of the elephant stables hotel
