The location is lovely and the rooms fair (some poor detailing) and we had no hot water. The Sri Lankan menu was tasty both times we had it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, if, like me, you're a bit doddery on your feet then think twice about booking. The stairs and walkways - especially the wooden parts - are very uneven, with steps that vary in height and can be loose and wobbly. Parts of the concrete areas can be slippery.

Good and clam place, excellent for bird lovers
Excellent little villas with lots of space, comfy bed, large bathroom with nice rain shower, wonderful back garden with furniture looking over jungle. There is a small fence. Food was quite good. Location is very good very near Dambulla Town.
This is called the elephant stables now with new managment it seems. Nice hotel middle of nowhere.. with a good restureant and a pool. Have 6 chalets. Good customer service , look for buddika, Aruna and thushara ... Try egg fried rice and chicken curry
Is it possible to get beter... our host Summit, did every thing to make our stay as pleasant as home. Thanks fr a great time!
Romantic place and best hotel outside Dambulla
This place is a nice and calm place. But it has been created on top of a breached ancient reservoir bund which can not be accepted.
