Room for improvement within the current circumstances. Simple things that could be easily resolved as discussed with the reception staff on departure. The positive was our evening meal. Staff were attentive and food nice.

Enjoyed the one night stay bnb and the evening meal. The hotel and staff tried to do best they can to make our stay as enjoyable as possible under the current circumstances. Arranged for a special treat for my wife's birthday, it was complimentary for after dinner but they forgot to bring it. However the manager the next day apologised and did bring the complimentary treat himself. All in all been good stay
Nice place and building with a lot of history. The West golf course was a nice course with good greens. I found the little stoppers in the cups were too high, one ball went in and back out which was very unfortunate costing me the hole..... no sour grapes honest. Food and drink service could be quicker if I'm being honest. Probably due to current restrictions.
Played the West course today, lovely smaller course. Well manicured. Sunny day, never rains on a golf course .
