I have passed this place for years & a friend said that we ought to try it out. We went in & it had a good smell & nice decor. The staff is grown friendly & that's why I give it a higher score. EVERYTHING we ordered was COMPLETELY DRY & over cooked. You have to use the sauce to make it better. We spent 85 & this will be the last dollar we spend here. The meat has good smoke, but it's crazy to pay to dollar for food that is dry. I took a picture to show you that there's NO SMOKE RING, because it's over cooked.

Holy mother of God. I think there is some type of drug in the barbeque sauce. One taste and I can't stop eating. I had the fully loaded baked potato and I swear I ate myself sick. I went back for another one two days later ( thats how long it took to digest the first one) and got my co-workers hooked! Its something about the sauce and the smoked meat!!!!! Man, when I tell you you MUST try this place at least once, I mean YOU GOTTA TRY IT. macaroni and cheese, pulled or sliced brisket, ribs, chicken, turkey, greens, black eyed peas, string beans, breads, salads, desserts - a fully loaded menu. I give this place 9 stars out of 5 and thats only because we could not eat in fue to COVID!!!
I have gone here for a couple years even before it burned down. They came back even better after the fire. The ribs are moist and the brisket had a good flavor. Prices are good compared to other bbq joints. I get the loaded baked potato with sausage and brisket. I hope you enjoy the food as much as I do. The four star rating is because of the wait time which is reasonable but it's worth the wait or call your order ahead of time.
Delicious and consistent food every visit. I love this place everything is good and I mean everything. I have never been to a bbq restaurant that had great meat and sides. I have been a return customer and they never cease to output great food. The meat never taste like lighter fluid and is seasoned through and through not too salty just right and perfect. It doesn’t require sauce just perfect. I cannot say anything negative about this place at all, my whole family loves the food the atmosphere and the friendly staff. It is worth the trip and I advise everybody to pay them a visit for real.
We tried the Fish Plate with Mac & Cheese, Candied Yams & Cornbread. We also got the Banana Pudding and Peach Cobbler. Every item that we had was flavorful, delicious and fresh unlike some other places I've been to. This place is highly recommended.
